Although I did enjoy this movie in general, I definitely did have certain problems with it as well. All together, the acting in this movie was relatively well done. Elisha Cuthbert is always pretty awesome, and she seems to be good with the creepy/thriller roles. I’m not sure how I feel about Camilla Belle’s performance though. I felt she didn’t do very well pretending to be deaf, but that may be how they wanted it, with the plot as it was.

The twist was given away within fifteen or twenty minutes (that I had already guessed immediately as the movie started) and that was really disappointing because they tried to do a reveal at the end. I enjoyed the dark tone of the movie, especially with all of the things that happened in the middle, but with the incredibly stereotypical high school characters and the common ending I lost a bit of my enjoyment from the movie. This movie was a slower paced thriller, so if you’re wanting something really exciting and intense then this probably isn’t a good choice.
