British Independent Film Awards – winners list

Standard

The British Independent Film Awards happened last night and American Honey picked up four awards (film, director, actress, and achievement in craft). Under the Shadow got 3 and I, Daniel Blake picked up 2.

Notably, Moonlight won best international independent film, which is also nominated for 10 Critics Choice awards.

What does that mean for the rest of the awards shows this season? Not much, other than American Honey could be taken a little more seriously and Moonlight has a good chance at picking up a few more along the way.
