Review: new single ‘Evaporate’ by The Fontaines

The Fontaines have come into 2017 with some pretty good momentum after their EP ii received some acclaim in the LA music scene last year. Next up, you can find them at SXSW playing some official showcases, but first, they’re releasing a new single “Evaporate.”

Check back soon for some day in the life shots during their time in Austin, Texas!

Their electric pop sound turns into a searing, high-energy song that would be perfect for hot summer nights. It’s a great single girl anthem, for those guys you aren’t in love with, but don’t want to give up just yet either. I loved that sentiment, especially as it was such a stylistic break from some of the most popular themes in the genre: burning love and devastating heartbreak.

  1. awesome share, haven’t heard of them before, but this song is great! What are other songs that I should be looking into?

    1. You can find more on Spotify, but I recommend Handstand – my favourite!

  2. Will definitely put that in the playlist.
