Is there any better way to come home from a long day of work, then with a package at your doorstep? Not that I can tell! Today, I came home and found a lovely little monthly subscription box, SinglesSwag waiting for me.SingleSwag is a great company with the mantra #loveyourself. How cute is that? They say it’s all for the single girl to treat herself but honestly, it’s a perfect box for everyone. Let this be your little monthly treat to pamper yourself!
I already know I love the Real Her matte liquid lipsticks after getting them in a few different boxes over the past year or so, but this shade in ‘I Am Perfect’ ($18) is a really cute neutral. I usually go for bold colours, so I’m looking forward to trying out something a little out of the ordinary for me.
I have been looking for a new pair of grip socks for my barre classes, and this Tavi Noir pair ($14) is so great! They’re a super soft, comfy sock and the grips are really good. Sometimes, the grips feel like they aren’t really doing anything, but that’s not the case here. There’s no slipping concerns here!
Manna Kadar is probably a company you’ve heard of before if you’ve gotten any subscription boxes in the last year or so. They’re a super popular brand in this market, but their flutter mascara ($29) was a new product for me. It has a great brush and goes on really smoothly. My big test is always to see whether it lasts all day and this one didn’t flake at all! Score!
Jules Smith dreamer necklace ($68) but I honestly don’t know who would ever spend almost $70 on this. It’s a fine necklace, but it just doesn’t seem worth it.
I feel like we get some kind of illuminating product each month in SinglesSwag, which is a little frustrating since I don’t really use this type of product very much. The Beauty Crop glow milk illuminator ($20) is really cute though, and it does look beautiful, so I just need to get used to wearing them more often.
Purlisse Pur-delicate 4-in-1 cleanser ($36) is probably my favourite item of this box (and likely of any SS box). This is my new daily cleanser. I used it on today’s full face of makeup, without any other products, and everything came off immediately—including my mascara! I’ve never had such an easy experience taking off my makeup before, and this product felt so silky smooth and kind to my skin.
And finally, they always end up providing a snack in their boxes. This time is the Off the Cob sweet corn tortilla chips ($4) which are okay, but not as good as the cookie chips that they’ve included in a few past boxes.
If you want a SinglesSwag box of your own, go to SingleSwag here, and use the code LAURENTRW for 25% off your first box!
