Ballet BC is proud to announce its 2017/18 season today marking its 32nd Anniversary. Three programs include world premieres and international choreographers showcasing unique discoveries and artistic voices. Like never before, each collaboration, each performance punctuates our story of diversity, evolving practice and scope of artistic vision.
Ballet BC concludes its dynamic 31st season at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, May 11-13, 2017 at 8pm. Our season finishes with a thrilling triple bill of cutting edge and inspired choreography by two prominent Israeli choreographers and Ballet BC’s Artistic Director Emily Molnar. PROGRAM 3 features world premieres by choreographers Emanuel Gat, Emily Molnar and the Ballet BC premiere of Minus 16 by Ohad Naharin.
Ballet BCopens its 31st Anniversary season at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, November 3-5 with a full evening of works by Ballet BC Resident Choreographer Cayetano Soto. Program 1 features four works that display a unique range of creativity and originality throughout Soto’s choreographic career.
